London’s Museum of Natural History is offering the opportunity for children aged 7 – 11 to camp out in one of their iconic exhibition halls. The evening starts at 18.30 and involves a range of activities culminating in the chance to experience the magic of the museum at night.
Steel your nerves as you navigate a torch-lit trail through the museum. Experience a whole other side to the exhibits and see if you’re brave enough to hunt down that T- Rex in the shadows.
The fun doesn’t stop there. You will also be able to unleash your creative side whilst making your own dinosaur t- shirt. And you’ll get to learn from one of the museum’s very own experts! Who said learning wasn’t fun?
The museum promises a night to remember and rounds it all off with a live animal show in the morning after breakfast. By the time you leave at 10 am you will be wondering if it was all a dream.

The Museum of Natural History also recommend kids have a meal before arriving. There will be a small breakfast in the morning. If your child has any food allergies it’s best you pack the something that fits their needs.
To make your child more comfortable take along a pillow and some eye shades, as some of the lights remain on during the night. The museum provides sleeping mats, but you are welcome to take your own as well.
Your child will be able to say they slept among dinosaurs. It promises to be a magical experience that both you and your little ones are sure to remember.
